Sensei Rossi is a professional martial arts instructor with a 4th degree Black belt from Jujitsu America and a 5th degree Black belt from Kitoshakia International. Leigh has been studying and training in the martial arts since 1978. IN 2004 CheckMate Self Defense officially joined Jujitsu America.

Leigh is a certified Defensive Tactics Instructor for Law Enforcement and Security Professionals through PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics). Having most of his formal training under Professor David Castoldi, his teaching style is a dynamic blend of Castoldi's Jujitsu, Small Circle Jujitsu, Wing Chun, Judo, and Ground fighting. Sensei Rossi owns and operates CheckMate Self Defense in Manchester New Hampshire in addition to Jujitsu class for adults and kids Sensei Rossi also provides Defensive Tactics training to local and State Law Enforcement.
